Many of you noticed my growing belly throughout my posted photos from the last few months…
Well, I am so happy to announce that Miss Harper Quinn Dahl made her appearance at 3:58pm on June 5, 2011! After a 12-hour, all-natural labor, she was born at BetterBirth birthing center in Salt Lake City. She weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz. and was 20 inches long. As I type this, she’s nestled in her wrap on my chest – and she weighs almost 10 pounds at five weeks old!
We are so happy to have her and can’t wait to watch her grow up (although it already seems to be happening too fast!). Here are a couple more photos of her first day in the world:
